Lilly has been taking dance this year and is really enjoying it. She loves to make
friends there and has learned Ballet, Jazz and Tap dance. It was cute to see her
in her costume and with her friends.
The Saturday before Thanksgiving my side of the family celebrated Thanksgiving
which I didn't get any pictures of. That, my friends, is a stinkin' shame because it was
really nice. We went to my sister Alisa's house and it was homey and lovely.
We eat and talk a lot. I love my family so much it hurts sometimes and I'm so
thankful when we can all get together.
Our family took our annual family to trip to Parowan for Thanksgiving. Parowan
is a very small town and has small town festivities. The 5 min Santa Parade
down main street. Seriously, if you blinked, you would miss it. There is a craft
fair there at the Fair grounds and a candle light walk down main street in the
evening which ends in singing at the manger scene and the Lighting of the City.
The lights are on one main tree and the Library that says Season Greetings. Then
a variety show later that really is just a talent show for the town.
This year we decided to build a fire in my MIL's back yard and roast marshmallows
instead of attending the variety show. Most of the days consist of playing with cousins,
making meals and maybe walking to "Gadgets and Goodies" second hand shop and all
the other little shops on Main Street and watching movie after movie.
This is my favorite picture of the trip. That's Grandpa Tippetts and Grandma in the
background smiling so sweetly with Dallin.
Lilly and Ian. :)
It happens to be that the weather, when we go, is perfect, nippy but sunny.
Perfect walking weather.
Here is a couple of other cousin pictures:
So that's it folks!
We have been so thankful for so many things and one of the
most important is our family.
We love you all Tippetts' and Bruners!
