Lills turns 8

Lills woke up so happy. She loved her scriptures 

with her name printed right on them.

T and D wrote a special birthday song for her and sang it.

This was her reaction.

We went to Build a Bear so everyone 

could give their stuffed animals an air bath.

Lills went to buy something but, we forgot our coupon.

No matter, we will go again.

She picked a cake she wanted...

Funfetti with vanilla pudding and strawberries.

Spending the day with Kate, 

her cousin and BEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WORLD

was the best of all!!!

8 Things We Love About Lills

1. She loves little kids and is a really great babysitter. 

2. She is really independent.  She loves to do gown up things alone. 

Like cooking for example. She cooks her own breakfast, and lunch.

 (waffles, eggs, ramen, grilled cheese, nachos...you name it!)

3. She is so funny and likes to quote movies at just the right moment 

to make a joke. 

4. She can memorize songs so quick and sings every single word to 

a song I've never heard before. She likes my surprised reactions.

5. She loves us to read to her. She likes to snuggle on the couch 

with a good story.Her favorites: The Boxcar Children, 

Betsie, Tacy and Tib Series, and 

Trumpet of the Swan. Fancy Nancy books, The Hat Book,

and Best Birthday Party Ever.

6. She loves to be with her cousins. She loves them so much.

7. She is very protective of  her family!

She has a little first aid kit that she loves to use on us when 

we get hurt in any way. She is such a nurturer! And she loves us. :)

8. We love her too, and so happy she is part of our family. 

This June she is getting baptized and having a fun date 

with her mom and dad.

She is so excited and so are we!
