39 is the new 20!

I'm turning 39 this weekend.
39!
Last night I was still able to do a
tight butt cartwheel.
To show the girls I still can.
I pulled a couple of muscles in my legs but
I'm still fit enough to do it.

I'm determined to run a 5K this year!
And I want to do some flexibility
exercises to be able to do the
splits again and a back walk over.
No sugar and chocolate because those
things make me feel old.
Do you think I can do it?

I'll post pictures to show you that I still can.
39 is the new 20 did you know?

It's beautiful outside today so the kids
and I are heading out for a nice walk
to enjoy the fresh air.
See you soon.

My Hero!

Sometimes it's hard to hear the truth.
But, if it's said by some one you love and admire,
you cry a little and then get to work to improve!

"We women have a lot to learn about simplifying
our lives. We have to decide what is important and
then move along at a pace that is comfortable for
us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying
to prove something. We have to learn to be content
with what we are."

still standing

we woke up again to snow.
but, my tulips are still standing.
usually they get whipped to shreds
in the storms of spring, but, this year
they are standing longer.

Conference/Easter Weekend

I love Conference. I love listening to our church leaders
and all of their wisdom. They are so loving and
wonderful. Easter was fun too. We spent Saturday
at Tami's doing the Easter Egg hunt and finding
money filled eggs the kids loved.

Money motivates!

We ate yummy food and watched the
Sat Session with the whole Fam Damily.
The guys went to Priesthood and I picked
T up at the airport. We all missed him.
He went to visit his cousin Aaron in Vegas.

Everyone home on Sunday felt good.
We ate Robin Eggs and read "LDS Why"
that we bought for the family. It's
really good and fun to read through.

Then we watched Conference on the computer
while we prepared food together and
ate chips and salsa.

Food is love!
Conference is love!
Family is love!

Love, Love, Love, Love, all over the dang place! :)

Autumn

Here is my last picture I pained in my last
water color class last night. I learned a lot when I painted
it and was having so much fun after feeling stressed.
Ask Garth.
He laughed at me. :)
Karen told me to stand up, take a deep breath
and paint while I was standing.
It was hard.

But it is finished.
My husband and I used to ride
4 wheelers through paths like this.
It brings back so many good memories.
After staring at it I realized I have no tree shadows.
Oh well...practice makes perfect. :)

Happy April Fools Day!

Well, I think Mother Nature pulled
a good one on us today.

Enjoy all the jokes!

The kids have been secretly planning for days.
I'm afraid! :)
